Aerie for Android · last updated 1 November 2026

The short version

Play Aerie for fun, on your own devices. Purchases are optional and go through Google Play. Essence is game currency: it has no cash value and lives in the save on your device. Be kind to the people you fly with. The game will keep changing as it grows.

1. Agreement

By downloading or playing Aerie ("the game") you agree to these terms. "We" and "us" mean the game's developer. If you do not agree, please do not use the game. Your use of Google Play is also covered by Google's own terms.

2. Your licence to play

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play the game on devices you own or control, for non-commercial use. The game, its code, art, music and content stay ours or our licensors'. You may not copy, resell, rent or redistribute the game, or reverse-engineer it except where the law allows it.

3. Essence and purchases

4. Flying together

Co-op connects you directly to the players you choose. Do not use your nickname to harass, threaten or impersonate anyone, and do not tamper with the game to disrupt other players. We do not run a server and cannot see or moderate rooms; leave any room you do not enjoy.

5. Fair play

Please do not tamper with the game, its save or its purchase system to obtain items or currency you did not earn or pay for, and do not use the game in a way that breaks the law. We may stop supporting a copy of the game that does.

6. Changes and availability

We may add, change, rebalance or remove features and content, and we may pause or end the game's availability. We will try to keep your save working across updates. Co-op depends on public relay services we do not control and may sometimes be unavailable.

7. No warranty

The game is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that a save can never be lost.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the game, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for in-game purchases in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law.

9. Privacy

How the game handles data is explained in the privacy policy.

10. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we will update the date at the top and publish the new version at this address. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated terms.
